First Amendment

A.
Give a speech before a large gathering of people and express opinions about the president's abilities.

-This is freedom of speech.


Circulate a petition calling for the repeal of an unpopular law.

-This is freedom of petition.


Post your opinion on your blog about an issue being discussed at a local school board meeting.

-This is freedom of speech.


Write a letter for the editorial page of a newspaper in which you criticize a state legislator.

-This is freedom of press.


B.

I think the First Amendment is important to everyday life because its says if we disagree with something than we can say whatever is on our mind without disturbing other people. I also think the First Amendment is important because we have the right to choose which religion we would like to worship. In the First Amendment it says that we have the freedom of speech, petition, press, religion and assembly.
